Sandwich:
- 1 French Baguette
- 4 Slices Deli Turkey

Balsamic Dressing:
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 cups Iceberg Lettuce, shredded
- ¼ cup Red Onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Red Wine Vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Basil Aioli:
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise and mustard.
- Add freshly grated or microplaned garlic to the mixture.
- Stir in the chopped fresh basil (about 5 basil leaves).
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate the basil aioli until you’re ready to use it.
Balsamic Dressing:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic glaze, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and red wine vinegar to the mixture.
- Season the dressing with salt and pepper.
- Set the dressing aside while you prepare the sandwich.
Sandwich:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and toast the French baguette until it’s warmed up and lightly golden. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
- Layer pepperoncinis on one side of the bread and spread a layer of basil aioli on the other side.
- On one side of the bread, layer 2 slices each of turkey, cheese, and salami.
