Description
This apple crisp macchiato is made from scratch using real apples, apple juice, and brown sugar to bring you the ultimate autumn pick-me-up coffee drink.

Apple Crisp Drizzle
- 2 cup Apple juice
- 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Apple Crisp Syrup
- 1 large Apple, Sliced
- 1/3 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 3/4 cup Water
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon apple flavoring (optional)
Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato
- 2 tablespoon Apple crisp syrup
- 3/4 cup 2% milk (Can use any milk you’d like)
- 1 Espresso shot
- 2 tablespoon Apple Crisp drizzle
Instructions
Brown Sugar Apple Syrup:
- Combine sliced apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, apple juice, and water in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer on medium-low for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add apple flavoring, stir, and let cool.
- Once cooled, strain the mixture.
Apple Crisp Drizzle:
- Mix apple juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and continue cooking until reduced to about ⅓-1/2 cup (around 25-30 minutes).
- Allow to cool; it will thicken as it cools.
Apple Crisp Macchiato:
- In a cup with ice, pour in milk and 2-3 tablespoons of the apple syrup.
- Add a shot of espresso on top.
- Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of the apple crisp drizzle.
- Stir well and enjoy!
Notes
- If the syrup reduced too much, you can add a few tablespoons of apple juice and bring to a simmer again to combine it then remove from heat and cool down again.
- To make this drink hot, pour steamed milk in a glass, add in the apple syrup, espresso shot, and the apple crisp drizzle and enjoy!
